在重庆黄桷坪的大规模拆迁背景下,60-90年代的旧房屋被清空,曾经的过往即将夷为平地。面对满片的废墟,我不禁设想如果灾难来临,人们如何在满目苍夷中自救。基于菌菇善生长在黑暗又极端恶劣的环境,且菌丝强大的穿透、连结能力上,我计划通过搭建一座由菌丝串联的房屋,一座既是家又是农场(表面可长蘑菇)的“建筑”,由此展开对末日危机的想象。
所以,我通过工作坊的形式邀请当地的居民参与该计划,工作坊是一个大众可以理解和接受的工作形式,但并不是我工作的主要目的。我以菌菇作为吸引居民的话题,让他们觉得这是一个有趣的科普艺术教育课堂。我通过四次工作坊的活动,逐步带着他们从对蘑菇的初步了解,到个人的艺术创作,再到对过往的重温,利用废墟中的遗留物进行房屋的搭建,最后一起将房屋上长出的蘑菇烹饪,并对居住环境展开了讨论。在这一步一步引导的过程中,他们有些人会对蘑菇作为未来材料有更深的认识,有些会被激发起创作的兴趣与自信,有些会在收集旧物的过程中回忆起过去的生活,还有一些会经历整个过程后,重新思考我们的生活,以及思考自己为此可以做什么。
In the context of the large-scale demolition in Huangjueping, Chongqing, old houses from the 1960s to the 1990s were emptied, and the memories of the past will be erased. Faced with the ruins, I can't help but imagine how people can save themselves from the vast barrens when disaster strikes. Based on the fact that mushrooms are good at growing in the dark and extremely harsh environment, and the strong penetration and connection ability of mycelium, I plan to build a house connected by mycelium, a "building" is both a home and a farm (the surface can grow Mushroom), thus began to imagine the crisis of the end.
Therefore, I invite local residents to participate in the project through a workshop. The workshop is a work format that the public can understand and accept, but it is not the main purpose of my work. I use mushrooms as a topic to attract residents, so that they think this is an interesting science and art education class. Through four workshops, I gradually took them from their initial understanding of mushrooms, to personal artistic creation, to revisiting the past, using the remains in the ruins to build houses, and finally cooking the mushrooms together. , And discussed the living environment. In the course of the activity, some of them will have a deeper understanding of mushrooms as future materials, some will arouse their interest and confidence in art, and some will recall past lives in the process of collecting old objects. Some will rethink our lives and what we can do for this after going through the whole workshop.
