Stump
Video, installation , Variable,Fungi sculpture, wooden box with fungus, mushrooms clock, mold sculpture, etc. 2019
The Stump is the possibility of changing the body of human beings in nature. I invite microbes, insects, wind and water in nature to complete the work together. The human body is not only the organic body of human beings, but also the man-made objects. The packing box, the clock and the metal frame are all derived from the human. Some of these "body" are placed in ponds to become habitats for cockroaches, sanded into pebbles by the waves, and become the carrier of fungi. The hands of the clock are also blocked during the growth of the mushrooms. This work reveals the power that is usually hidden, and the works are placed in a diffuse manner, and the audience shuttles through them to feel the connection between the works.
